Olympus 1050 or Panasonic TZ5?
Im torn between the two. Does anyone have any suggestions? btw im 15. Some people may be thinking “well your 15 you wont care about quality as much as size and style” but yes I actually care. I do ski/swim and am ,but that 10X optical zoom on the TZ5 is amazing!
That question for me in easy the TZ5. I have had a number of different digital camera and the last 3 or 4 I have owned have all been with a 10x zoom. My latest one I love is the Sony DSC-H3. Both cameras you are looking at are relatively the same size with the TZ5 being a bit larger. What really makes a difference to me is the zoom. I use mine a lot when I shoot since I can zoom in a subject at the time of shooting and not have to crop and reduce a pictures quality later.
You probably will not notice a difference in the size of the camera but for sure will notice the zoom.
The pixel size is close as well and most pictures taken will not be at full resolution any way (just eats up memory).
Go with the Panasonic TZ5… I would.
