Will (most) snowboard boots fit with older burton bindings?
I just bought a used Burton board (at least 3-5 years old) and it has the bindings attached. I was told contradicting statements, where some said any boot but Salomon should fit, then also told generally only Burton boots will, because of how much more narrow they are. I tried to put a pair of Flow boots into them, but they were too large.
Anyone have any insight/wisdom for me?? 
what size boots do you have and what size burton bindings are they? Any boot can fit into just about any binding, but if you are wearing a size 11.5 us boot and the binding is a medium then no matter what boots you wear you are not going to fit.
From what you are saying chances are that your boots are too big for the bindings, because flow boots are cut smaller and narrower them most boot companies, so if they don’t fit, or like you said are too big, then the bindings are just to small for you boot size.
Also if you are wearing a size 11 boot or bigger you have to ride a wider snowboard, so if you are rocking an 11 boot or higher then the board is even to small for you. Hopefully that is not the case.
Bindings are sized is boot size runs i.e. 7-9, 9-11, and 11-13, or small, medium, large, and extra large. So you boot size is going to tell you the size bindings you need. For example if you have a size 10 boot then you can fit into a size 9-11, or medium binding, doesn’t matter what brand boot or binding, it’s based on size.
