Snowboard boot fit problem: wide foot at toes, narrow at heel, narrow ankles, big calves?
My heel lifts out. In response to a similar question (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071128020157AAfzFuT) yahoo user TahoeT said he made a power strap that holds his foot in.
Anyone know how to make a power strap to hold your heel down to the board? TahoeT doesn’t accept emails, so I can’t ask him directly.
Get a new pair of insoles for your boots. Ive never heard of this power strap but im sure it would be pretty easy to make. Go to REI or Sports chalet and try on different insoles with your boot. There is a brand called “Superfeet” for insoles that makes all different shapes and sizes for different feet. I havent used them in my snowboard boots but I use them in my hiking boots and they really help with heel lock. Once I put them in I wouldnt get any more heel slippage.
