Volkl Bridge
What size twin tip skis should i get? 161 or 169?

I am in the market to buy twin tips and I am currently looking at the Volkl Bridge and the Salomon Lord skis.

I can’t decide on the size though. 161 cm or 169 cm?

I am 5′ 6″ and weigh about 120 lbs.

I’ve done some prior research and found that the shorter ones will give me better maneuverability and the longer ones will give me better float and stability.

Thanks

P.S. I dont know if this helps but i am an advanced skier, skiing powder, trees, groomers, park – pretty much anything. I basically need to know what size I need based on that.
From the responses thus far, I’m leaning toward the 161 cm Volkl Bridge mostly because i can get a good deal on them and the salomon’s i can’t.

One last thing: since I’m looking at twin tips does it matter that in reality the skis will ski like a shorter ski because a good portion of the ski is lost due to the back end not touching the snow? should i still go with the 161?

Thanks

Honestly, 8cm is not a huge difference. I switch between 161′s and 171′s all the time and hardly notice a difference. When it comes right down to it, once you ski on either for a while you’ll get used to it.

And if price isn’t an issue, go with the salomon’s.
