Would you buy a traditional diaper bag or would a large tote/purse work the same?
I’m due in August with my first baby. I don’t really want to spend the money on a traditional diaper bag. I’m wondering if it works to just use a large purse or tote bag (like a large louis vuitton style) to carry everything. Any suggestions?
I have and use both. I have a very large Coach tote that I use most of the time. All I really need to run a few errands with my daughter is a bottle bag, a couple of diapers, some wipes in a Ziploc and a pacifier. I also got a more traditional Eddie Bauer diaper bag as a gift, which is durable and waterproof, so it’s great for the pool/beach/traveling etc. I plan to keep my Coach bag as a regular purse for a long time, and it was expensive, so I prefer not to take it anywhere where it might get damaged.
