How’d you know it was time to try for a baby?
I guess I just need to hear from others about how they decided it was Time.
We’ve been married 1.5 year now. I’m 27. I don’t want to wait too much longer ( I don’t want to be in my thirties when we first try) and he is fine with it beign within the next year or two.
I guess I am just afraid at the same time of the prospect of everything it entails. I’ve never been a mother or cared for a child so it seems a little scary but at the same time I would liek to try for a family before I get older and my chances of conceiving wane some.
We both have good jobs and are financially stable and own our own house.
Advice?

I think you just know in yourself when the time is right. I am 21, and have always been 1 of these women that have said that I am never having kids lol! untill I had a m/c earlier this year. My bf and I (we have only been together 1 1/2, a year when I fell pregnant) were devasted. We had never even discussed having kids yet neither! We had only just about talked about moving in together 1 day let alone children! so the pregnancy was a bit of a shock to us both, but we decided we would go for it, and 6 weeks in we lost it. Now we desire a baby so much, and we still havent been able to get our place together (we are still looking) plus im currently out of work and he is a window cleaner! But I guess what I am trying to say is there is never a specific time to KNOW when you are ready. I feel , if a woman desires a baby strongly enough, then the timing is right for her. By the sounds of things, you and your husband have loads to offer your future baby(ies) and would be able to give it the best life possible compared to me and my bf. But it took a miscarriage to help (or make) us (me and my bf) realise how much we do want to be able to bring a life (or several) into the world ,and as I say, we dont have to offer half as much as you and your husband do, so I say, you go for it girl! I wish you and your husband all the luck and baby dust in the world, and at least you can have loads a fun trying to! good luck, I hope you fall pregnant soon!
