Dvd burning question? rw+ or rw-?
I recently bought a DVD+RW and am trying to burn home movies with Nero 7 Ultra Edition, after it completes the burn processes, a message pops up and says tells me to insert a blank disc. I know that the disc i am using is blank, on My Computer i right click the disc drive, go to properties and there are two colors. Blue is for used and pink is for empty, the whole disc is blue but it says 0 bytes used, so technically its empty right?. Also when i put in my DVD+ RW it shows up on My Computer as DVD-RW??

did i buy the wrong type of disc? cause the sticker on my computer says DVD+/- multiformat optical drive, or is it Nero problem please help, Thank you
You might need to format the DVD disk before you can write to it. I am not familiar with Nero but when you fire it up check under Tools –>format ( or erase). It might want it formatted before you can write to it.
