Are American Civilians prohibited by the Iranian Government not to go to Iran to ski, hike and snowboard?
I hate when our fellow American Civilians use dumb and stupid choices especially nowadays to go to a Communist Middle Eastern Country like Iran to go skiing, hiking and snowboarding, all of a sudden here comes a full platoon of Iranian Soldiers armed with AK47′s to hunt them down like dogs.
Nope. Tour ships still make their regular stops there as do planes. The U.S. state department advises against traveling there but The Daily News Show’s “reporters” had no trouble getting into the country and traveling around this past September. Like most countries, Iran doesn’t like “tourists” to cross their borders from neighboring countries without the proper visas and permits. I think the U.S. has the same problem with the “working tourists” who cross our border from Mexico:-)
