What are some things/projects I could photograph?
I was planning to snowshoe out behind my house tonight and find something to photograph, but it’s too cold to go outside, for both me and the camera. Are there any project sort of things that I could do inside? I haven’t taken my camera out for a few days so I am dying to do something. I have my 18-55mm kit lens, a 55-250mm telephoto, a 50mm prime, and a 60mm macro. I also have an external flash, but I only have a Rebel XS so it can’t come off the mount. Normally I just play with water and dyes and what not, but I’d like to do something different that’s still challenging and can be done inside.
I’d appreciate any ideas and/or links- thanks!
Light painting with a mag-lite is always interesting. Talking about lights out, long exposure, low ISO and small aperture. I found that setting the w.b. to “cloudy” gives a more realistic rendering of the halogen light source, but that’s your call.
