Leotard skirt?
To make and attach a skirt onto a leotard, what kind of material would be the best to use?
I was in Joann’s last week and saw some netting in various colors that was extremely reasonable. Because it is very sheer you can just about make it full, very full, or just straight. Get some kind of material or elastic {elastic I found was hard to work on my sewing machine and I had to work it by hand} and make a waist band for the netting to be attached to. You can use a button hole, snap, hook, etc. to fasten it around your waist. This way you would not have to fasten it to the leotards when it is not needed.
EDIT With the netting you would not have to worry about making a hem and at the top with the material all you would have to do is put the material over the top and then the back and sew it and that would eliminate having to put a hem in the top. This would shorten the working time for making the skirt.
