Snowboarders opinion/help needed and maybe tips?
Hey guys i just bought a snowboard 2 days ago. Its a Firefly Source Snowboard, with Morrow Sims Bindings and Shoes. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=10689679&l=1058e4672f&id=678355603 I have never been Snowboarding before, so i wanted to know that if i bought the right equipment for a beginner?
I also would like to know, that are their any alternative to a Snowboarding Pants or Jacket, and Insulated Socks, because buying all that stuff will cost me like another 300 dollars considering the snowboarding pants, and jacket are like 200 bucks each.
Finally, I was hoping if some of you experienced or pros, can give me tips, on snowboarding. or any exercises that i can do at home to be prepared for the snow, so i dont break bones haha

You can were sweat pants but make sure u put on layers and that they are ha non fabric kind. A winter jacket would work as an alternative if you have one. I have Heard that Sims And Firefly are low end brand but anything is better than those crappy resort boards. When you snow board remeber these three things
1.KEEP YOUR HEAD UP,no looking down at the snow no matter how much you want to
2.Stay squating, and keep you balance centerd as much a possable.
3. Don’t give up, you will fall and somtimes it hurt but we all have to start somewere.
