is the burton feather snowboard good for the park and pipes?
i got a burton feather two years ago its really long for me like above my nose im only 5’4” 105 lbs and my dad got me the 150 without me there at the store to see if its good for me. he thought id grow, but ive only grown like 2 in. (which is not much- i think the snowboard was as tall as me when he first got it..)…..i want to ride on the pipes and boxes..is this an okay snowboard? or is it too long?
where can i find cheap snowboards/bindings that are great for the park and doing tricks on? doesnt have to be burton, just any good brand, but not for beginners cause ive been snowboarding for many years
It’s would be decent for the park but the Feather is more of a beginner’s groomers/piste board. If you want to get into freestyle, it’s better to have a smaller board like a 143 or 145.
Check out Burton’s website on the less expensive bindings, Forum, Ride, and even Lamar make good inexpensive freestyle bindings. You could also check out last season’s gear sold on online shops and Ebay.
