Questions about DC boots and where to get burton compatible binding plates?
So I’m looking into getting new boots and DC seems to be a cheap and decent quality option.
Unless someone has a huge objection to the quality, I just need sizing information.
I wear a size 11.5-12 in vans, how to DC boots fit?
I was looking at this model specifically

I also need some of those 3 hole binding plates for my burton board. Any idea where I can get those (I have emailed burton)
DC boots fit small. Don’t believe anyone who tells you there is a standard for sizing. Every company is different. I wear Vans too. I currently ride Vans saviors. I wear a 12.5 in shoes usually. My Vans boots are a 13 and they fit perfect. When I say perfect I mean my toes just touch the ends. It would be nice to have a tiny bit more room but I can’t sacrifice the width on my board for boot length.
I tried on boots from every manufacturer I could (only high end stuff) before I bought my Vans. I could not deal with how small the size 13 DC model boots were on me. Totally uncomfortable. I would say similar to a Vans boot size 12. I think that Vans, Ride and Solomon are most true to size and that DC, 32, Burton, are not. At least when it comes to larger size boots.
As for the discs, ask around, check online on craigslist or put a want ad out. There are sooo many of them out there. All those people who bought burton bindings and used them with 4×4 insert patterns has a spare set. Also, every burton 3D disc fit’s every Burton binding all the way back to the early 90s. I have red 1996 Burton Freestyle discs on my 2007 Cartel bindings.
