Why do many people choose an animal that looks nice or is cute instead of adopting one you fall in luv with?
I work for a no kill animal shelter. So many people come in and just “pick out” an animal. It might match the furniture or maybe it looks cute. People get upset when I ask them to come and visit the animal again or when I tell them they need more time with the animal. Why can’t people spend time with the animal. Get to know the animal and then choose the one that is right for the family.
