What kind of bird has a large white spot on each wing?
I live in Southeastern Massachusetts. Saw one of these this morning. A nice looking bird, about the average size of a bluejay or cardinal. Any idea what it is?
A LOT of bird species have white spots on their wings. It might help to show us a pictures of those birds 
What colour plumage did it have? Were the spots on the top of the wings or on the underside of the wings? Could it be a type of starling/myna (sturnidae)? They tend to have white spots on their wings.
