Snowboard boots half a size too big, any tricks to reduce heel lift?
I got a pair of salomon kiana, these boots are great. The problem is…My regular shoe size is a 6 but my snowboard boots is a size 6.5, so they are a bit too big. I’ve been riding in these boots for 2 years now, and its usually fine for the first 2 runs after tightening my boots. As the lace starts to loosen up a little, i start to get quite a bit of heel lift (prob cause my feet starts to slip forward?) and it makes it harder to control my board. Does anyone have any suggestions to how i can reduce this heel lift? At this time of the year christmas presents for others are already so expensive… i don’t wanna spend more money on a new pair of boots…
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
i think you can get boot inserts that will make the boot a little more snug to your feet. I saw them at a ski shop once but you should probably research it a little more.
