Hi I need help I have an ice/figure skating question?
Ok so I want to become a figure skater. But the problem is I don’t know how to /never been Ice skating I I know how to roller skate, but not ice and I’m not flexible. Help what should I do where should I start
I’m 17 almost 18 female
Because you are almost 18, you will be placed into the adult skating category. Look for some group lessons for adults to learn the basics and have a good time. You do not need to be flexible to have a good time skating, it will develop as you improve.
Roller skating has a different center of gravity, so it will take some getting used to. But you at least know your balance points and should be able to feel some body placement.
