When riding a motorcycle, what’s the best kind of glasses/goggles that help with the glare of headlights?
I have tried amber-colored lenses and plain clear lenses. I really need something that’ll work best for night-time riding. If anyone knows a specific brand, please let me know.
Amber lenses have never helped me in the dark. They cut out too much light without really reducing the glare. The best thing you can do is keep your clear lenses clean, free of bugs, dirt and moisture. I clean my safety glasses, goggles or face shield with Lemon Pledge wipes, then polish with a soft cloth.
Nothing is perfect, but if you can look over a windscreen that deflects the direct wind blast from your face, you can go longer between cleanings.
