We have no problem understanding letters if they are printed negative but fail with a face?
Why is the brain like this? I can never make out from a negative who the person is. OK it is not natural but so is a B/W image and this gives no problem.
Thats a really interesting question, I’ve never noticed that before.
A font in negative is still a recogniseable shape. A face in negative can be recognised as a face, but you can’t tell who it is; and I can’t judge their facial expression form a negative either!
