Elan magfire 78 vs 78ti?
I’m an intermediate to advanced skiiwr and I was wondering if I would be a me to notice the difference between the elan magfire 78 and the magfire 78ti. Does anybody have experience with the difference betweenthe two skiis?
78 Ti s are a bit stiffer due to the Titanium sheet in them (78s are just glass fiber), take more energy to turn but can hold better at faster speeds.
82 Ti is the next step up and has a wider base (82 cm), so is more likely to be stable when running into crud.
Depends on how aggressive you ski, Ti s would be better for the more aggressive / heavier skier. Else the regular 78s might feel a bit soft.
If can demo a pair and compare that is ideal.
