Burton Gore Tex or Dakine Vectra Gloves?
Theres a sale at proters tahoe and the burton gore tex 2009 gloves are on sale for 20 bucks.
Next, the dakin vectra gloves are on sale for 68 bucks…
Can someone help me decide based on the gloves and price on what to get?
Hey, me again. Burton gloves don’t really have a good name for themselves yet since they focus more on snowboards, bindings and outerwear. I personally do have a pair of Burton Baker mitts from a few years ago and they do their job but soon as it gets too cold they can’t take it.
Without price in mind I would get the Vectra without hesitating just because it is a better all around glove and also has gore-tex. Since you mentioned the prices though, you may want to buy the Burtons because even if they aren’t as good, for $20 that is still a steal. I would get the Burtons and see how they work out for you. If you aren’t happy buy a pair of Vectras on sale at the end of the season for like $30.
