What is the best coloured lens for snow goggles?
I have previously used a pinky/orangey colour but am going to invest in some new oakley crowbar goggles for the new season and want to know which iridium (tint) to get…im looking at the pink one, but thats mainly for cosmetic reasons!!
Try on some other goggles before you buy. Don’t buy Oakley just because they’re Oakley. You want a good fit, no air leaks and no pressure on the bridge of your nose. that might be Oakley, it might be a different brand. Buy the goggle that fits your face best.
If you’re skiing in bright sunshine most of the time you might want something mirrored. If you ski in flat light, you might want amber. If you ski at night you’ll want a clear goggle.
Don’t buy a lens for cosmetic reasons or because you think it will look good with your jacket. Your goggles are safety equipment designed to protect your face and eyes.
