Burton Lux 43 – what’s the official length in cm!?
Daft question but can someone confirm 100% that the 08/09 Lux 43 is either 143/144 cm long? I’ve found one for sale on the internet from someone who knows little about snowboarding (as do I), and they’re saying it’s a Lux 43…but then they’ve said it’s 56 inches long…which only makes it a 140 (too small for me).
He says it’s pink/red on the bottom which stacks up with the 144 length so I’m a little confused!
Does anyone know this board well enough to know if there’s any markings on this board so I can email this guy and be 100% sure? he could then perhaps email me with the markings so I know for sure.
This is such a bargain that I’d love to buy but I can’t spend over £100 on something that could be too small!

The problem here is really with the measurement types.
56 Inches translates to 142.2cm’s, So essentially he just used the wrong system of measurement when he held the measuring tape up to the board as all snowboards are listed with a cm measurement.
You also need to remember that it is highly possible he didn’t measure the board correctly, if it says its a 143 on the board, it is generally within a CM of 143.
The only thing that will happen if you go smaller is the board will be a bit softer.
So you are good to go!
