what size snowboarding equipment do i need (Board,Boots,Binding)?
I am a girl , im 5’7 i weigh about 140 and i wear size 10 in shoes or size 8.5 in men
I would start with the board. They typically run in size based on your weight. If you are buying new there should be a chart or you can just Google that brand and model and check their website for sizing charts. I also like to get a boad that is around my chin in height.
Next find yourself boots. They size out like shoes. Gotta just try them on. One thing to pay attention to is how bulky they are. Older boots are very bulky while the newer models are slim and lite. Pay attention to the lacing system and make sure the boot is snug and your heel does not pop up when you lean forward with someone holding down the boot.
Bindings. Make sure the binding fits on your board and does not hang over the front or back edge too much. Also make sure your boot fits into your binding. Find a sized binding that is one size up from your boot not fitting. You want your boot and binding to be nice and snug but not so tight you have to force it.
If your buying online I would go into a store and try on the boots. There is nothing worse than boots that don’t fit well. It will ruin your day on the mountain.
