Ski and snowboard goggles are used to provide important safety to protect your eyes. As with sunglasses, it’s important to choose the right pair of goggles for the activity you’re participating in and the weather conditions.

When chooing a pair of of goggles the mainaspect to look for is that they provide UV protection. Here at http://theresasdesignerclothing.co.uk we will only sell goggles that provide 100% protection from harmful UVA rays. Secondly, if you’re wearing a helmet you need to know that the goggles can be used along with your helmet.

* No doubt you will be using your goggles in various weather conditions. Therefore goggles have various venting and anti-fog features

* You can have fog free lenses simply by purchasing goggles with double lenses and good venting.

* Goggles have vents to aid air circulation inside of the goggles which reduces fogging and provides refreshment for your eyes

* Most goggles have some sort of chemical treatment which allows the lenses to be water resistant and helps reduce fogging.

* Lenses come in a variety of colours and tints that will aid your vision in various light conditions.

- Bronze lenses typically offer the best protection from harmful UV rays and can be used in a wide rnge of conditions including sun, clouds and overcast. For better protection from bright sunlight then choose bronze chrome. These lenses may not be suitable for low light including nighttime skiing and heavy blizzards.

- At the other end of the scale from Bronze, clear lenses will usually let the most light through and therefore will offer optimal performance during low level light such as night or blizzards.

- If you don’t like the idea of clear lenses then you could try yellow lenses, clear chrome blue or clear chrome orange, all of which offer the same advantages of clear but with a little less light transmission and with a tint.
